Hey Ya'll! 

So today I tried my first Kale Smoothie... I surprised myself... it was amazing!!!

If you don't know me, I am a FOOD LOVER! As much as I want to eat cheesy pizza everyday, I am always on an adventure for trying new healthy meals I ACTUALLY look forward to eating, like cheesy pizza!!! If you are new to joining the healthy bandwagon, don't overwhelm yourself with diets, go slow and try things little by little, even if it means trying a few different recipes. I've starting to grow a list of favorites and this {Kale Smoothie} is definitely on the TOP of the list! First time Kale eaters, you will love this!

 Start your day off right with this Kick - Ass Pineapple Kale Smoothie! A delicious and creamy green kale pineapple smoothie with banana and Greek yogurt. Filled with healthy protein, nutrients, and will keep you full for hours!

 This Smoothie can be a full meal replacement depending on your body type. For me I make it first thing in the morning, following it with high protein in the afternoon. I seriously can't tell you how much of a difference it makes in your energy levels, when you give your body the nutrients it needs to preform. Kale Pineapple Smoothie

A delicious and creamy green kale pineapple smoothie with banana and Greek yogurt. Filled with healthy protein, nutrients, and will keep you full for hours!

YIELD: 1 large or 2 small smoothies

PREP TIME: 3 minutes

COOK TIME: 1 minute

TOTAL TIME: 4 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups lightly packed chopped kale leaves, stems removed
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or any milk you like)
  • 1 frozen medium banana, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup frozen pineapple pieces
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter, creamy or crunchy (I use natural creamy)
  • 1 to 3 teaspoons honey, to taste

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients (kale, almond milk, banana, yogurt, pineapple, peanut butter, and honey) in a blender in the order listed. Blend until smooth. Add more milk as needed to reach desired consistency. Enjoy immediately.
